This appendix contains the main database programs and data referred to in Appendix A of the paper "Conjugacy class representatives in the Monster group". We store elements and their trace information in text files, one file for each order of elements in the Monster group. A suite of Perl scripts manage the database; in particular, they can determine what needs to be calculated, and they produce input data files for the trace-finding programs.
