NOTE TO U.K. AUTHORS

This journal is compliant with the RCUK (Research Councils of the United Kingdom) Policy on Access to Research Outputs.

Some U.K. universities are using the SHERPA database  to decide on journal compliance, but that database does not reflect the true position regarding copyright on LMS journals, and U.K. authors should refer directly to our copyright policy and the new RCUK guidance. We are working with our publishing partners to get the SHERPA database corrected.

Aims and Scope

The aim of the LMS JCM is to publish internationally-leading papers addressing topics in computational pure and applied mathematics, including papers at the interface of Mathematics and Computer Science. The LMS JCM is an electronic-only open-access journal.

Guidelines for submission

Papers can be submitted electronically. See here for further details.

When preparing the paper for submission, authors are encouraged to use lms.cls, which can be found at the LMS general instructions for authors page. Upon acceptance, authors will agree to grant a non-exclusive licence to the Society. The copyright will remain with the authors. See the sample publishing agreement.

Published papers available online

Online access is FREE.

Further details

The LMS Journal of Computation and Mathematics was founded in 1998. It is published as one volume each year, and articles are assigned consecutive page numbers within the volume in the order that the papers appear online. The journal is owned by the London Mathematical Society and is web-hosted on our behalf by Cambridge University Press.
