Mathematika

This is the page for submitting your paper to Mathematika, which is published by the London Mathematical Society on behalf of its owners, University College London.

Scope

Mathematika publishes both pure and applied mathematical articles and has done so continuously since its founding by Harold Davenport in the 1950s. The traditional emphasis has been towards the purer side of mathematics but applied mathematics and articles addressing both aspects are equally welcome.

Submitting your paper

You may submit a paper electronically as a single PDF or Postscript file as an attachment to an email sent to mathematika@lms.ac.uk. Please keep the .tex file that precisely corresponds to the .PDF or .PS version that you have submitted, but do not send the .tex file at this time.

Please include in your email the following information:

You will be sent an acknowledgement, usually within a week, once we have confirmed that your file is printable.

Revised version

If you are submitting a revised version of your paper, please send the same details as above and include the following additional information:

If you have received a message that firmly rejects your paper and does not mention that a resubmission would be considered, you are advised to submit any revision of your paper to another journal.

If you have a problem in submitting a paper or you do not receive an acknowledgement, please first check that our email (sent on behalf of mathematika@lms.ac.uk) is not being blocked by your spam filter which is the most common fault. Then send a brief e-mail to the Publisher, Susan Hezlet, at susan.hezlet@lms.ac.uk, describing the problem.
