Developing A Scholarship Project in Mathematics
The LMS Education Committee is pleased to announce this in-person CPD training event designed to provide advice and guidance on developing a mathematics scholarship project in higher education. The event will also mark the launch the Education Committee’s new project grant schemes supporting teaching and scholarship in higher education. It will also provide practical advice and suggestions for those interested in applying.
This interactive day will feature workshop-style sessions and talks covering the following.
- How to plan a scholarship project.
- Designing effective evaluation and dissemination strategies.
- Gaining appropriate ethics approval.
- How to submit a well-formed grant application.
The event is aimed at individuals involved in higher education mathematics interested in teaching and scholarship activities. Attendees may have some prior experience of developing scholarship projects or be new to this area.
