LMS Wine Reception at the ICM 2018

LMS Reception

The London Mathematical Society will be holding a Reception for its members and guests on Tuesday 7 August at 7.00 pm, during the International Congress of Mathematicians. 

LMS Meeting

The reception follows a meeting of the London Mathematical Society from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, which is open to all ICM delegates; both LMS members and non-members.  LMS members can sign the LMS Members’ Book, which dates from 1865 when the Society was founded and contains signatures of members throughout the years, including Augustus De Morgan, Henri Poincaré, G.H. Hardy, and Mary Cartwright.

LMS Lecture

Professor Marta Sanz-Solé (University of Barcelona) will give the LMS Lecture on From gambling to random modelling.
