Grants of up to £15,000 are available for organisers to run LMS Research Schools, including one focused on Knowledge Exchange, offering an excellent opportunity to shape high‑impact training for research students. These UK‑based schools bring together leading international mathematicians and participants from around the world for intensive lectures, tutorials, and collaboration.
Prospective organisers are encouraged to review information about submitting proposals here and discuss ideas with the Early Career Research Committee Chair (ecr.chair@lms.ac.uk) before submitting proposals to Lucy Covington (research.schools@lms.ac.uk) by 1 March 2027.
The LMS Research Schools are often partially funded by the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research
Applicants may also seek additional enhancement funding through the Clay Mathematics Institute’s Partnership Program.
