The Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society publishes longer research papers in mathematics. Published since 1865, it covers a wide range of mathematical topics that include real and complex analysis, differential equations and related areas, topology, geometry, logic, probability, statistics, algebra, number theory, and combinatorial theory.
The current Editorial Advisory Board reflects predominantly pure interests, but the Society wishes to encourage a spread to more applicable areas and will consider papers submitted in areas of mathematics not covered by existing Board members.
Papers can be submitted electronically; see here for details.
When preparing the paper for submission, consider using lms.cls. Upon acceptance, authors will agree to assign copyright to the Society. See sample copyright form.

Online access is FREE to papers published on Advance Access and to issues published within the past 6 months. Full text access to earlier issues requires a subscription, but note that all Content Lists, Abstracts and Searches are free.
The Proceedings has been published since the Society's foundation in 1865 and is now in its Third Series. It is published monthly with articles published individually on line prior to appearing in a printed issue. The journal is owned by the London Mathematical Society and is typeset, printed and distributed on our behalf by Oxford University Press.

The Society recognizes the importance of the dissemination of mathematical knowledge and the issues of rising costs, growth in research output and falling library budgets. The Society will retain the objective of increasing its support for mathematical activities and consequent benefits to the mathematical community in the UK and internationally. Within these parameters, the Council of the Society will apply a fair and reasonable pricing policy with respect to its publications.
