The Committee for Women and Diversity in Mathematics offers the schemes below to support mathematicians.
There are usually one or two rounds of each grant scheme per year, except for the Caring Supplementary Grants which are open year-round. Details of open calls will be posted to the LMS homepage.
Inclusion and Diversity Fund
The Inclusion and Diversity Fund aims to support events that promote EDI in mathematics, broadly speaking. The focus of these events may be on any aspect of diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, trans identity, sexual orientation, sex, age, religion or religious belief, neurodiversity, socioeconomic status, disabilities, and background. The fund is supported by the Heilbronn Institute for Mathematical Research.
Maximum award per application: £1,000.

To enable parents and other carers to attend conferences and other research schools, meetings or visits by making a contribution towards caring costs.
Maximum award per application: £200
Applications are open year-round and considered on an ongoing basis.
