Women in Mathematics Days 2018-19 - Expressions of Interest
The Women in Mathematics Committee annually invites individuals or groups to express interest in organising and hosting a Women in Mathematics Day. These events are aimed at academic mathematicians (from at least postgraduate level and up and may include undergraduates). The events are intended to help early career women mathematicians when considering the next stages in their careers and typically have included mathematical talks combined with panel discussions, social opportunities and networking. For details of previous events held organised by the Society please follow the link.
The call for expressions of interest in hosting an event in academic year 2018-19 is now open. If you are interested in applying to host an event in 2018-19 the application form and guidelines are linked below. Please note that the deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm Friday 14 September 2018.
If you have any queries please contact Katy Henderson on email@example.com
Please note that funding for Women in Mathematics Days is only for academic level mathematicians. The Committee also runs a scheme to support events for school-age Girls in Mathematics and details of this funding can be found here.
