The next LMS Women in Mathematics Day will be held on 19 October 2018 at Newcastle University in partnership with the WISDOM group of Royal Holloway, University of London, titled: What I’ve done with my Maths Degree, and what you can do with yours.
Aimed at undergraduate, masters or PhD students in any discipline, who are interested in hearing from successful women with a mathematical background, the event will be a friendly day of talks from several women working in academia and industry, showcasing where a degree in Mathematics can lead.
This free of charge event will consist of several talks, coffee breaks for networking, a poster session for interested attendees over lunch, a panel discussion session, and final remarks including the announcement of the winner of the best poster prize.
