The House of Lords Science and Technology Select Committee conducted a short inquiry recently, focusing on the implementation of the Government Open Access policy.
The Committee considered a range of concerns including:
- embargo periods;
- arrangements for article processing charge (APC) funds;
- international issues; and
- risks for learned societies.
