Upon Acceptance
The LMS Newsletter is prepared in LaTeX and submissions should be prepared in LaTeX when possible. Once your submission has been accepted for publication, please send the LaTeX version of your article to the Newsletter Editorial Office. For those not familiar with LaTeX, we can accept submissions in Word.
If your submission includes photographs or maths imagery, please include those as separate files, in high resolution, in the sources files bundle.
Permissions
All sources for the article (text, images, photographs) must be clearly disclosed and permissions obtained from the original authors, creators and original publishers, if they hold the copyright, for any figures or significant extracts that are to be reproduced or quoted. The copyright of photographs is owned by the photographer, unless the copyright has been formally assigned to another individual, in writing. Collection of such permissions is the responsibility of the authors.
LaTeX templates
LaTeX templates for various article types are linked below. Each link will download a directory containing the Newsletter’s class file and a template that contains author guidance. Note that the class file requires a recent TeX installation to compile.
