Introduction
Funded by the Committee for Women and Diversity in Mathematics and hosted externally, Girls in Mathematics Days are annual events aimed at inspiring and encouraging school-age girls to continue with mathematics.
There is flexibility as to the format of the event but it should be aimed at school-age girls, up to and including A-level or equivalent, and have mathematics as a main focus.
Individuals or groups interested in organising and hosting a Girls in Mathematics Day may submit a grant application. The maximum grant per organiser is £500 and usually two grants are awarded each academic year.
