LMS Professional Development Series for Early Career Researchers. Session 1: The academic job search
LMS Early Career Researcher Professional Development sessions are free online panel discussions, which are aimed at Early Career Researchers and run by the LMS Early Career Research Committee. Each session focuses on a particular element of career development for Early Career Researchers. By registering you will receive the Zoom links for all panels in the 2021/22 academic year shortly before the events.
The first panel session will cover the basics of applying for academic jobs (what material you need, where to find jobs, etc), and offer the opportunity to ask more detailed questions. The intended audience is more advanced PhD students and postdocs.
