Education Grants

The London Mathematical Society has a major commitment to mathematics education, and offers the following grants schemes:

Small Grants for Education

Grants of up to £800 are available to fund activities that stimulate interest and enable involvement in mathematics from Key Stage 1 (age 5+) to Undergraduate level and beyond, by:

  1. enhancing and enriching mathematical study beyond the curriculum;
  2. engaging the public with mathematics;
  3. encouraging unusual ways of communicating mathematics.

Mathematics Education Conference Grants

This grant offers up to £2,000 to organisers of regular mathematics education conferences and is intended to contribute to the travel/subsistence expenses of attendees of the event in question. See more information here.

Grants for Teaching and Learning in HE

This grant offers up to £500 for partial funding of one-day workshops disseminating good practice in teaching undergraduate mathematics. See more information here.
